Lineage: Mango Taffie x Wedding Cake
Bred in house, Mango Cake is a sativa dominant exotic tropical dessert strain combining Good Buds' juicy Mango Taffie with sweet and creamy Wedding Cake. It opens with ripe mango sweetness and a gassy after burn, followed by soft vanilla frosting and a creamy cake dough finish on the exhale. Grown in small batches in living organic soils, each harvest is hand cut, hang dried and slow cured using artisanal legacy methods. Hand finished and hand packed with care, Mango Cake is housed in recyclable Ecolite tubes that use less plastic than standard tubes.
It all started in a van.
At the tail end of a road-trip across Canada, their Founder Tyler Rumi stopped on Salt Spring Island, BC to visit family. He hasn’t left since. A long-time MMAR grower and avid stoner, Tyler fell in love with the island’s amazing growing climate. He decided Salt Spring Island was the best place to live out his dream of starting a craft weed farm.
Living out of his van, Tyler brought in his brother and Co-Founder Alex, and some of his life‐long buds, Ryan, Mike and Andrew to start GOOD BUDS.
In 2020, GOOD BUDS became FVOPA Certified Organic and BC’s first Certified Living Wage Employer in cannabis.
Today, GOOD BUDS has grown from a small dream into an award-winning craft cannabis brand, specialized in Certified Organic weed and concentrates.
